This post talks about prerequisites including my ideas, inspirations and research that will help me prepare for development. I plan to design an open world puzzle adventure game where the player must complete puzzles to explore the map and unlock new puzzles.
My original ideas for this FMP consisted of a somewhat open world environment that the player can explore and complete puzzles. I wanted the environment to be a photorealistic forest as I am fond of photorealism and hyperrealism. The puzzles would unlock mysteries and potential new areas for the player to explore.
• Open and clear so it is easy to navigate and see the different areas to explore
• Grassy, trees, rivers, blue sky, hilly, dark greens
• Player navigate via visible trails on the ground
