Foliage population





Development



Since my landscape is so vast it would take a very long time to hand place all the foliage. To avoid this I used the Procedural Foliage Tool within UE4 and set spawners that covered the whole environment so that the foliage can be simulated following an algorithm.





This method is used by professionals as it is very time efficient and produces excellent organic results.



These pictures show before and after the spawners were scaled correctly and simulated.
